MGM Studios have today released a brand new poster for their upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, aristocratic British Lady and globe-trotting adventurer.
Lara was played previously by Angelina Jolie in 2001 and 2003’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, and since Jolie stepped away from the role, Crystal Dynamics have since rebooted the video game series, which focused on a younger Lara in the adventures which forged her into an intrepid raider of tombs.
Directed by Roar Uthaug (The Wave), the film will adapt the 2013 reboot game of the same name and co-stars Walton Goggins, Daniel Wu, Hannah John-Kamen and Dominic West, and is set to be released on 18th March, 2018 in the US.
