Jamie Lee Curtis revealed on Twitter on Friday that she is set to reprise her iconic role as Laurie, the babysitter stalked by masked serial killer Michael Myers in John Carpenter and Debra Hill’s 1978 cult slasher Halloween.

It is not the first that the BAFTA and two-time Golden Globe winning actress has returned to the franchise where she made her name in feature films. Curtis appeared as Laurie in the less successful sequel Halloween II, the anniversary sequel Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, as well as making her last appearance alongside Busta Rhymes in 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection.
The eleventh film in the horror franchise is due for release in 2018 and will reunite Curtis with the series’ creator John Carpenter.
