AMC’s zombie franchise is set to deepen with The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead heading for a crossover for the very first time, as revealed at the TWD panel at New York Comic-Con.
As series co-creator and writer of the comics that inspired the show, Robert Kirkman, said at the panel:
There is one character that is going to go from one show, that I will not name, to another show, that I will not name. This is a huge event in the world of The Walking Dead.
Said crossover will take place during either The Walking Dead Season 8, set to debut on 23rd October in the UK on Sky, or Fear the Walking Dead‘s Season 3, currently heading toward its conclusion on Amazon Prime in the UK.
