Over 40 new titles heading to Nintendo Switch and 3DS systems

A recent Nintendo Direct revealed more than 40 titles will be heading to its Switch console and handheld 3DS with a mixture of both first and third-party games.

More information was revealed about exclusive games such as Super Mario OdysseyXenoblade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors, whilst EA Sports’ juggernaut FIFA 18 was confirmed for release towards the end of this month, despite there being no playable demo available.

A new local multiplayer version of Rocket League will also make its way to the Switch, as well as popular wrestling franchise WWE 2K18.

Four new The Legend of Zelda Champions amiibo were revealed based on Breath of the Wild‘s Daruk, Mipha, Revali and Urbosa. Each will provide special headgear for Link, although full details about their interaction with the game has not yet been revealed.

A new Poké Ball-themed 2DS XL will be released to coincide with the launch of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon in November.
